How to get out of Cancun airport?

To get from Cancun airport to downtown Cancun you can use private transportation service, cab or ADO public transportation service.

If you need to go to the hotel zone you can also use the private transportation service, cab service and "less direct" the ADO bus to downtown Cancun and from downtown Cancun, take a public transportation bus to get to the hotel zone.

What is the best option? The best option is the cab service and private transportation. These two options as such will "take you directly" to the door of your accommodation and also, you have to consider that Cancun's international airport is located 17 km from downtown Cancun and 23 km from the hotel zone of the city.

Is it possible to take public transportation from Cancun airport? As such, there is no public transportation service and the only service "closer" to the airport is the ADO bus.

Can I take an Uber to leave Cancun airport? Currently the Uber service does not operate inside the Cancun airport and in order to take it, you would have to walk about 15 to 20 km to get out of the airport to the federal highway Cancun - Chetumal and from here you can request the Uber service.
